Looks like a pullet, about ready to lay. But could you get a full body pic and how old is it?

That's like posting a picture of a big toe and asking if it's attached to a boy or a girl. Age and a photo of the whole chicken are required if you want anything more than a guess.

From the photo, it looks like a pullet ready to lay. I agree with debid though; get a picture of the full body so that we can tell better.

Sorry i tried but we have some photo bomers in the group and couldnt et a good one i will corner it.
The bird is a Rhoad island red about 4 month old.
