I've recently acquired some khaki Campbell females....and have noticed 2 lay eggs with "swirls"....though very pretty/different, I'm wondering if this is a sign of a sickness. They came with other birds that died of aspergillosis from the original breeder. And some had severe bumblefoot. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I also have ducks, & I have one that also lays eggs like that.
My birds get a varied diet, plus they free range, so I'm thinking maybe it's an age thing. I have a Swedish blues, and a Rouen female just hatched this year that have just started laying.

I definitely think its an age thing as well our Aylesbury's did the same thing in the start of there third year I don't think it's a problem with there health as ours were fine for another year laying eggs like them. Anyway its something different the egg basket :) I wouldn't worry:)
