I have 20 hens, most of which are sick. Coughing, sneezing, watery/pusy eyes.
Started tetracycline on Friday. It is a powder that goes into their water which they are refusing to drink. They are not eating much either.
I used a deep litter method all winter, i recently cleaned coop out, added stable boy on floor and added fresh kiln dried shavings on top. I am using straw for the nesting boxes.
I had a severe drop in eggs. Right now I'm throwing the eggs out as the hens are taking antibiotics.
What is the prognosis for my birds? Any suggestions?

The prognosis would be better if you knew what was wrong with them. Is it viral, fungal, protozoal, nutritional, environmental or one of the few bacterial respiratory things an antibiotic can actually cure?

Blood, throat and nasal cultures, fecal samples. Otherwise you're shooting in the dark.
The best thing IMHO would be to send the worst one to your state poultry lab for humane euthanasia, a necropsy and then you'll know what is ailing them and how to treat - or even if there is any effective treatment.
What state are you in?
