Yes I have heard this is something some people do....people are weird. What concerns me is what happens to these chick's after easter?

Indeed. Well, since the food coloring only last till their first molt I assume they go back to being white chicks and people stop wanting them

They usually die before they get a chance to live. How many children know about building a brooder? So they get chilled and grow sick, then die. The chick day they had last year. The guy that was selling the chicks, never once told the parents or children, to keep the chicks warm. Well until I started to. I'd gone for chicken feed and was just looking at the chicks. :/

Going to my parents. Making cute little chick deviled eggs and bringing a ham. It should be a good day, I got thing 1 and 2 new easter dresses for church too, they will be very cute princesses.
