The chickens of the Sunshine Motel!

I was getting VERY worried we may not find him, and both the neighbor and her daughter felt terrible about the whole thing! But it was no one's fault, she is up this way about every month or so, it is it her usual custom to release the chickens on her morning stroll.

Clearly just an accident but one that could have had serious consequences. Always good when you can avoid them.

Thanks. And such a character too. She has taken to screeching whenever we open the backdoor so the whole tribe knows a human is coming. It is the most ridiculous sound.

Gucci took her longest walk of her life yesterday. I think her leg might finally be improving.

Final count of my polish babies: 11 boys and 9 girls! Going to rehome all but I think 3 of the boys, and keeping 6 girls.
