I have heard of drakes being mean to babies

Not unusual for drakes, and sometimes new mother ducks, to drown ducklings. Awful. And unpredictable - some are good parents.


I don't know that these would be the kind you can tell sex by color.

would you agree these 2 11 week old guys are indeed drakes? They have raspy sounding voices, both weigh around 4 lb.



Trying to find these 2 boys a home that isn't the freezer

They're adorable!! Look like my drakes did around that age but hard to tell--not sure. Hope you can find them a good, loving home.

Thx so much. I'm trying hard to find them a home. They're good ducks, but we can't go into winter with 4 drakes

By 12 weeks, it should be pretty accurate to voice sex them, right? They both sound pretty froggy to me. Nothing like the other 2 ducks I have.
