Hidden in a tree, a wolf stood on a branch, watching everything that was going on. It was in a position where no one could see it unless you knew exactly where to look, and it was upwind of the camp so it could not be smelled. He stood up on the branch and tapped onto the trunk with a smaller log 2 times, then 2 more before the pattern repeated several times. The noise echoed through the forest before it unfurled its wings and disappeared into the forest.

Bat's ears flicked around as he received the message that the wolf had sent. "Oh, fantastic," he muttered, "just what we need."
"What?" Fire Magic, who was passing by, asked.
"The impostor has been discovered. They've got him tied up. Not only that, the prisoner has been freed."
Fire Magic cursed loudly, getting up and cantering out of the room to report to Thunder.
Thunder listened intently, a mildly curious look on his face. Should they bother assembling an attack patrol, or would it be too much trouble? No, it wouldn't. They outnumbered the rebels by many, if they were to ambush them full-force they would probably be crushed like insects. "Yes, Fire Magic, please gather the generals and form an attack patrol. The rebellion will fall today."
Fire Magic nodded, "yes, my lord." He turned and quickly padded out of the room. Thunder smirked, he hadn't been in a real battle in ages.
