The Missing Heir RP

Plot
During a time of peace a darkness falls upon the land. The princess and only heir to the throne of the human empire is missing. Tension rises as accusations and suspicion divides the kingdoms and races. War is in sight but, in a last attempt to preserve peace, a search party is hired to find her.

Setting
The setting is a large continent that contains huge forests, towering mountains and copious rivers. In this beautiful land three empires dominate. The high elves, the Zurians and the Humans. After a terrible war these kingdoms sought peace and held it for nearly 300 years until now. The Halforcs rule the mountain regions that split the land in half. At the center is the tallest mountain, Black One. Wildfolk reside deep in the forests that cover the north and east sides of the land. Dark elves claim the swamps that are situated where the main rivers meet the ocean. The continent boasts seven main rivers. The Twins run through the west plains, the Dragon runs north along the mountains, the Snake winds through the forests, the Siren runs south and sports a vast delta, and the Good Ones run from the Siren and surround the human kingdom. The High Elf kingdom sits in the vast western plains. Humans have built their cities around the Siren delta and in the glades where the forest meets the plains. Zurians live in large cities that dot the plains between the High Elves and Humans.

Races
High elf
(A tall race of elves which have golden skin and hair. Their eyes are typically blue and their faces angular. The high elves are born with magic wielding capabilities and are adept mages. While they make excellent wizards, they are too frail to be warriors. Being a very sophisticated race, their arrogance has distanced high elves from the rest of the world.)
Dark elf
(Dark elves are a subrace of elves that were banished from the high elf kingdom. They sport black skin, dark hair and gold eyes. Like the high elves, they are adept magicians but, posses better physical capabilities than high elves. The dark magic they wield lends them to be excellent thieves and scouts.)
Human
(Humans are a young and versatile race. Being intelligent and physically sound, they excel in all combat roles. However they could never beat elves in magic without a life time of study. Humans have established a spralling empire and are a leading power in the lands. )
Zurian
(This race is a reptilian humanoid that resembles a frilled lizard. Powerful tails, claws and large size make them excellent warriors. While most do not use magic, they highly revear the shamans which guide their kind. Zurians are a proud race whose society revolves around honor and respect for their elemental gods. They come in many colors with various markings.)
Half orc
(A hybrid of an orc and human. These people have been casted out of human society for their violent nature and grotesque looks. Halforcs posses great strength but, lack intelligence. In combat they are typically recruited as warriors. Halforcs are incapable of using magic. Their society is similar to a city-state system and are built in mountain ranges and vast caves. )
Wildfolk
(Wildfolk are a secretive race that lives deep in the forests. They reside in small clans and rarely assimilate into other societies. Pale skin, emerald eyes and dark hair are characteristic of this race. Being the smallest of the races they are frail but, no other being can match the archery skills of wildfolk. Aside from their natural bow skills, wildfolk are born with the capability to use shifting magic. The wildfolk use this to change form to their animal half which retains the glowing emerald eyes.)

Appearance: A rather tall and gruff old Zurian with a gentle heart. His skin is a dull, light purple with flecks of gold. His eyes are copper colored like his frill.

Bio: At his prime, Karok was a warrior. Now in his older age, he spends his time wandering and dabbling in shamanism. He champions the lightning God and uses his skills to help those in need. Like most Zurians, he seeks honor and finds it in upholding justice.

Appearance Agatha is an old Zurian woman. Her skin is dull and brown with cloudy pink undertones on her rill and face. Age has made her gaunt and wrinkled. Her back is contorted and her rill blemishes. She adorned herself with loose tattered robes or dresses.

Bio Agatha has always been a student of shamanism. Since a young age, she practiced and learned from her mother. Although she champions the earth goddess, she is a cynical and stubborn old crone.

Appearance: Aeron's pale skin, long black hair and emerald eyes speak true to his Mothers race, though he is still shorter then average for a human man, he is much taller and stronger then the Wildfolk.
Bio: His Mother, Kendra, lived with her small Wildfolk clan in the forest. One winter, a large group of human men came, they killed almost all of the inhabitants, then caught Kendra before she could escape. After a few days, they left her half dead in the forest, she managed to survive and she made her why back to her clan. When she realized that she was pregnant, she did not tell of who the baby belonged too. When she died in child birth, the Wildfolk cared for her child, but when Aeron turned 11, they realized the truth, that Aeron was not one of them. They abandoned him, at the edge of a small town. Surviving off of thievery, Aeron took to his new life among the humans.
Other: Though he doesn't have the ability to shifted into animal form, he can imitate them, and therefor understand them, more or less. He despises humans, and the part of himself that is, he wishes to kill the men that, in a roundabout way, killed his mother.

That is until she met Nicholas (Col), son of Bogumir, Duke of Gladmeir, she fell for the young man and he promised to take her far away, so they could live free from responsibility.
Other: She is young and foolish and naive, but she is also kind, sweet, loving. She has a dislike for Zurians, she thinks they're creepy and less intelligent then humans.

A small fire cast it's warm light on the trees o the forest. The morning air was crisp and a light frost hung on the grass. Next to the fire an old Zurian laid upon the ground basking in its warmth. It was still much to cool and Karok needed to warm his blood before beginning his day. The previous day Karok was commissioned to search for and capture a rose thief active in the area. He felt he was close but couldn't seem to actually find the their. With this in mind, he sighed deeply and eyed his own horse. "That would certainly be ironic..." Karok whispered to himself. A humorous idea crossed his mind involving him becoming a victim of the horse thief himself.

The horse thief in question, was in fact, eyeing a beauteous Friesian at this very moment. The thief's name was Aeron, and just that, for he had nay surname. He had stolen five horses now, but had not kept a single one, only keeping them until he found the right buyer. "Methinks, I'll keep ye..." Aeron whispered with a sly smile, the thought of possessing such a beast... He could not wait.

Warm rays of sun leaked through the forest branches, it seemed that with it came life. The forest grew warm, birds sang and the fauna began their day around the tiny camp. With his body no longer chilled, Karok rose from the ground and stretched. A glance at his map oriented him towards the farm he was sure to be hit next. "Hope I'm not late again." Karok spoke to his horse before climbing in the saddle. With a click the heavy bay shire started for their destination.

When Aeron awoke, the birds were already singing in the morning glow of the sun had not yet risen. He cursed the sun, it was a goodly length of time past when he had planed to take the black horse, who was grazing in his field. Aeron arose from the brambles that he had spent the cold night in, thinking about his chances of getting away with this thiefed, now that it was light enough for him to be seen. He smirked, it was so tempting, and with out anymore thought on the matter, he jumped the wooden fence, and edged his way to the horse, holding up his hand. Once the horse let Aeron close, he started stroking the beast's silky coat, speaking to it in a low voice, asking it to follow him. He went to retrieve the horses tack, obediently the horse followed and Aeron saddled him up.

Just as he mounted up, the bird song changed, now a warning that something was amiss. Aeron started to panic, the horses owner had left for the market the day before, was he back already? No, the market was a two days journey... Aeron thought, then relived, too make the birds sing out a warning, whatever was coming would have to be unfamiliar to them... He urged the horse forward, out of the field and into the woods. All of the success of not being caught had gone to his head, so that even now, he didn't bother trying to hide the path the huge horse broke through the low brush...

A break in the tree line revealed the small farm that was Karok's destination. The shire lumbered out of the woods and into the grassy fields toward the barn. Things seemed odd to Karok, where was the horse? Not wanting to over react, Karok dismounted his steed and hurriedly checked the stables. Gone...the saddle, bridle, the horse...it was gone. Karok guessed and quickly began searching the tree line. A small area seemed pushed back, with no other leads, Karok hopped into the saddle and spurred his horse into a canter. It's my d*** luck I'm chasing a deer!

Kira was far from home, wandering where her curiosity led her. she was wearing a hooded cloak that helped her to blend into the forest and had her bow and quiver of arrows strapped to her back. She moved quietly as she walked along.
