I think every book I've ever read has been life changing to some extent. Some more than others, to be sure. But I think each brings new thoughts that mix and mingle.

A few that come to mind are -

Tao Te Ching - by Lao Lzu. I like the Stephen Mitchell translation.

A Canticle for Leibowitz - by Walter M. Miller

Animals in Translation - by Temple Grandin

Lately, we listened to A Voyage Long and Strange by Tony Horwitz (history of America audiobook on CD), very eye opening.
