Q9, it would not. Mine is in 7.62x39mm. with a drop forged and milled receiver. It averages 1.5 M.O.A. at 100 meters. It also goes for over 2k in today's market. I bought it for $320.00 in 1996. What you're thinking of is the SLR-106FR. They run between $1,100 and $1,300. M&P 40 is a really good gun, but my Glock is a birthday gift and I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Besides, I like it. It's very accurate. That's not by any chance the 5.56 NATO AK, is it? If I had wads of cash to blow, I'd love to get one. Think I'd take an M&P40 over the Glock, though.
