The Old Folks Home

It's begun. I'm seeing a few threads already, where people have gotten chicks, and have no idea how to care for them. I suspect we're going to see a lot more of that here shortly.
Yep... lots of panic buying of chicks.... verses planned buying...

What sort of meat is in those packages? One "issue" is I don't do nitrates/nitrites since they give me migraines. I think most cold cuts have that "color preserver".
Tha package of ham does not have nitrites. The Turkey breast does though.

I have seen some posts where some are jumping straight into incubating to start having chickens
 
For Easter BYC has always been flooded with more activity/new members- due to folks getting Easter chicks. I think stores now say they must buy 6 or more, which hopefully stops some folks from buying.
Not from what I saw today at Rural King! Lots of carts with boxes of chicks in them.
