We're making progress on the coop expansion. All that's left is to paint and install the roost bars and hang their feeders. Considering the new chicks won't be roosting for several weeks, I think I'm ahead of the game, haha!

Well @Texag87 was right yesterday about the storm headed my way. Chainsaw day!

We only had a large limb fall and a few branches. Of course the limb fell on the new fence and bent the wire some. The ducks were lucky only a few twigs fell in the pen. They were playing in the river running through the pen when I got home. Officially we had wind gusts to 80 mph here in town but I do not think it was that high at home.

That tree was a favorite of the pileated woodpeckers. It broke right where they're been drilling for years.

I am alive, I opened my bee hive, talk to the bees took some stuff out of the hive, fed them..

and they never kilt me!
