The Wally-Gee Bee Journey 🐝

Wally, this your mailman?

My box came today! There was some assembly. I hammered the dovetail joints together and put the frames together. I had to trim a few of the dovetails with my trusty chisel and every one of the top pieces for the frames were just a tiny bit too long to fit into the groove along the top of the brooder box. My miter saw made quick work of that. After all the assembly I mated it all together with the pieces I made. Here’s the end result.

Walt has some activity in one of his swarm traps. Still nothing in the one at my house. I’m being patient. I don’t want to get in a rush and do something stupid. Right now I’m experiencing “flu-like” symptoms, so I really don’t care what the bees do. View attachment 3483865
