Hardly angry but that is really funny. When you dont know what to do "just lay down!" Had they just stood there the results would have been the same. Typical reproductive swarm moving to a new location.

The 3rd box is done, which will be a medium honey super if it ever gets that far. It looks just like box #2. When I get it painted, I’ll stack the whole thing together and see what my frankenhive will look like.

The swarm trap worked! Walt made an after dark bee delivery. I’ll try to get some pics tomorrow after work. Maybe they will be oriented to their new surroundings and not so pissed at me.

That’s a nice color. Has there ever been research to show if bees produce more honey if the hive is a different color I wonder?

I really wish my nuc hadn't been moved back a week. The cherry blossoms are starting to open. I hope they hang on for another 2 weeks.

In great news, the frost/snow they predicted did NOT happen! 39 for a low, instead of 35!

Which may mean that the cherries will blossom faster. But it also means they weren't damaged. If I have to, I'll go out with a paint brush to fertilize them.
