Theres a mass inside my hens egg

I was cracking away at eggs to use for baking today and I came upon this little suprise.
It's about the side of a bean and it's not hard but not soft either. I've never seen this before. Has anyone else have experience with this?

maybe an excess calcium deposit in the actual egg? Weird whatever it is...

Meat spot.

I had thought that only the little blobs of red or brown are considered meat spots. I just checked Google and sure enough someone else had similar and said meat spot. It's just big so it has me concerned

Could be 'lash egg' from an infection....or could be an immature ova.
Did you happen to cut it open to see inside?

Might be a one off and you'll never see one again...or could be a problem.
Funky stuff happens with homegrown eggs......they sort those ones out for grocery eggs.
For sure it will have you opening eggs one a time in a separate dish before adding to pan or recipe for quite awhile.
