I dusted my brooder babies with poultry/garden dust tonight, after finding one of my 5-6 week old silkies with at least 10 mites/lice under each wing. That chick ended up dying, and the others in the same brooder were almost as bad.

So I dusted them, and there is not one peep out of that room, other than the normal quiet peeps you can only hear if you're in there, not the 'ACK!! Something is trying to eat me!!!' peeps that I normally hear. So this means that I've:
A) killed them all;
B) completely worn them out and they are now sleeping exhaustedly;
or
C) Finally made them comfortable so they can rest.

I believe it's the latter

I know, I couldn't believe it when I saw how many that poor baby had on it!

The poor thing. These brooders are in the house, I would have never thought they could get them inside!
