The chickens can be penned in the vegetable garden during the summer. They eat bugs not vegetables. DH actually said this.

The raccoon and hawk thing is something I never say anymore either lol its more like "dumb stupid hawk, think they own the place the big jerks!" lol

Chickens are EASY!
They don't look that difficult, just throw together a coop and turn them loose
how hard could it actually be.
