This just came out of my hen?? Please help!

My hen has been standing like a penguin and after I gave her a warm bath this came out of her vent. What is it? Please help me!!!

That looks like a lash egg.

How old is she? What breed?

It happens sometimes as a glitch but can be from infection. I believe the term for the infection kind is Salpingitis.

Keep an eye on her for anything else odd.

I believe she's a gold star, about 2 1/2 years. She's been eating and drinking but still standing upright, and definately doesn't look well. Her lower belly is quite puffy still

Thank you! I'm not sure what to do now though, she's never laid a bad egg before and she's been acting very off for the past day. Suggestions?

When you say she has been acting off... What other symptoms has she had?
Is she eating, drinking?
Are her droppings normal?
How does her crop feel? Hard, mushy, full or empty?

She is eating and drinking, but she's standing upright like a penguin, seems lathargic, and looks very uncomfortable walking. Her lower belly is also swollen/bloated
