Tired of hearing I should put chickens in a coop instead of free-range

Good thought on the "free-range" dog situation too -- at least my free-range chickens don't bite anyone, or nip at the kids. And chicken poop dries up and disappears within a few days whereas dog poo, now that makes a yard nasty! Unless picked up, of course. So, why don't people refer to dogs as free-ranging?

You should make like a duck and let it all just roll off your back when people give you their opinion. As long as everyone is happy and safe, let them do as you like
