Topic of the Week - Incubating eggs

Pics
I want to subscribe to this thread. I am in the middle of hatching eggs. I started with twelve and I have three left in the incubator(haha). Luckily I'm getting thirty-five more eggs this Saturday to be my "Easter hatchers". Wish me luck for both hatches. My batch in hatching now started with a LG and it fluctuated between 91-105 so not very good, but I am borrowing a friends incubator and turner. Also I'm building my first incubator and I hope it works!

The incubator I posted above is 110V, is that enough voltage for chicken eggs, or do I need to get a converter?
No converter needed

Just bought a new incubator. Test run was great with humidity around 50-55%. Doing mock lock down now, and I cannot get the humidity above 65% with 3 additional cups under the chicken floor. Dome has lots of moisture on it. Any tips, or should I be okay? Quail eggs will arrive in 2 weeks to start incubating.
