Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I wanted to share with my fellow BYC seed swapers! I went to the store today and found some 'Nest Egg Gourd' seeds. So I bought a few packets to share with my fellow BYCers!!

So here is my offer: send me a PM(with your addy) and I will send out 8 seeds to each person. And if I have enough left over, I will try to include a few more. I think I should have enough for 15 or so people

Here is a little more info on them..

Gourd
Nest Egg
Annual. The Nest Egg Gourd is true to its name, strongly resembling a goose egg or hen's egg. These white, oblong, small gourds were traditionally used to place in the nest to trick hens. Will grow up to 2.5 inches in diameter. Since they mature late, plant early in short season areas. 110 days to harvest after transplanting. 10 to 20 days to germination. Grows best in full sun.

To dry gourds, wait until fruit is fully developed and hard enough to pick from the vines. Pick before frost. To preserve, avoid brushing and wash thoroughly. Store in a dry, well-ventilated place until thoroughly dried out and hard. Can then be waxed or painted.
