Hi I live In australia and recently purchased some birds The sign on the pen read Triline/isa brown cross. Does anyone reading these post know anything about them. The previous hens I bought were said to be Isa's but the two new ones have much darker brown feathers. So I'm confused.

They are a RIR cross. Darker feathering could be due to the the inclusion of some heritage breed RIR. This is happening in canada also because the Production genetic lines are getting a little thin.
