I've got a turkey that I am feeding out and will butcher it in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knows if there's anything wrong with feeding her a high protein feed? I feed my roosters that are for butchering a mixture of cracked corn and the high protein feed and they gain weight nicely and have such a nice bit of fat on them when I butcher them and their skin is a beautiful buttery yellow, if it's alright to feed my turkey this same mixture I would like to but won't if it's going to make her sick or something. Like I said, I'm butchering her in a few weeks and just feeding her out right now and want her to gain a little weight in that time. Thank you in advance for your advice and opinions.
