Turkeys love dandelions

The chickens turn their noses up at them, but the turkeys will strip every plant that they find. They love the leaves but don't seem to want the flowers or stems. That's fine, though. No leaves, no photosynthesis, no dandelions.

You must have fussy chickens. My chickens eat anything that won't eat them first. Including dandelions. And thistles.

Mine love to eat dandelion leaves out of my hands, but I rearely see them pick them themselves. I can also feed them strawberry leaves, but they won't pick them while grwoing either. Come to think of it, they will eat just about anything out of my hand!
