Ok,
a family member of mine has to give her two 5 month old pekins away,so I decided to take them.I have ducks already though.6 adults (1 drake 5 hens),and then I have two teens about the same age as the other teens,(1 drake 1 hen).
From what i heard the ducks are sweet,but her drake has never been around two other drakes,or any drakes period.
So,is there any possible way I could introduce them?The last two ducklings I introduced got chased down and beaten by the large leader drake.I would hate for these guys to go threw the same.
Would it be best to just let them free in the cage after they settle down at home?Give it a go?My ducklings neither have had their own territory,so this will be the first time I see how they react to other teen ducks.
