Two questions on eggs...

I may have missed it, I read you're supplementing with oyster shell, but what kind of feed are you giving?

Well, 2 days ago I got 2 eggs from the 2 Reds at noonish. Last night @ 4ish I got 4 eggs from the 2 hens! As of noon today, 1 egg. WTH?! I am now documenting the time I collect each day.

My Leghorn x RIW laid 2 eggs earlier this week, one first up in the morning, the second late in the afternoon. She hadn't laid tgeh day before and didn't lay the next day.

You can put food coloring on their vent to tell which hen is laying which eggs.

Great idea! I have never heard that before. No red!
