Type of Rooster?

Got as a Rescue, he's gorgeous, but I have no clue what breed he is. Coloring is varied shades of grey.

I have Buff Orpington hens, do you know if there is a chance of Lavendar if I breed them? Or will they all be split and be dark?

Lavender is recessive, so it takes 2 copies for it to show... breeding to buff it will act like black, so results will most likely be blacks with buff leakage...

I was afraid of that. Guess he'll just get to hang with the main flock. Unfortunately he's about 4th or 5th in line, but he's a great tid-bitter for all the chicks running around and a lot of the brooding hens stay close to him.
