For any of those around south west ga that haven't heard yet. The chicken/livestock swap in Cairo, ga at Bennett's feed and seed has been moved to Tractor Supply in Thomasville. Bennett's has stopped selling feed and is going back to just a nursery.
The first swap in Thomasville will be September 6th. Still the same time, on the first Saturday from 8:30-12, just now at a new location.

Crystal River Mall and Rural King Farm Swap.
I am working with our local Rural King. We have a monthly farm swap across the parking lot from a new Rural King store and if enough people want a certain breed of chicks they will order them so they will be in by our swap dates. The minimum amount of chicks they sell is 6, so a person would have to buy at least 6 chicks. Rural King is ordering chicks for our next swap. I believe they will be ordering some white Silkie and Polish chicks as well as some other breeds and also some ducks. In some of the breeds they do have choices of colors if there are different colors in a breed such as Silkies (black and white) as well as Polish ( buff and black) they will order them. There are other colors available as well, but I don't recall what colors they are.
Our next swap date is Saturday August 23rd.

In October we have been considering holding our swap on the 3rd Saturday (Saturday October 18th) as there is a Poultry Show at the Citrus County Fairgrounds Auditorium on our usual swap date on October 25th.
