Helen may be a buff wyandotte. I have a BO that is 12 weeks and is just now starting to develop a comb. Ideal Poultry said he was a roo. I'm hoping he is.

Barred Rock - 8 weeks

I really hope you're right! My barred rock is the only one that I'm really concerned with at this point. I'll try to take a better picture of the comb in a bit. But my buff's legs are just pale yellow. She has a little bit of black in some feathers on her back.

Thanks for asking! But my RIR passed away when she was about 8 weeks, unfortunately...
