Using a cloth in the incubator???

Since the humidity trays are in the bottom cloth would not be the best. Whatever you put in would need to very porous to allow the incubator to get proper humidity.

Since my humidity trays tend to leak, I put a small dish in with water in it. I am hopeful that will work. Anyway, the dish is on top of the cloth and so are the eggs. The reason I put in the cloth in is because the eggs tend to roll some when I open the bator or if it is jared a little. I guess I can take out the cloth if it is going to cause a problem with the eggs developing.

Lots of people use shelf liner. It is like a thin foam and has lots of holes in it.We get ours at one of the dollar stores.

I put in some small pieces of chicken wire (coz I already had it on hand) and the eggs will sit inbetween the holes and it prevents them from rolling at the slightest jar.
