Using "Earth Valley ABM" as Bedding

I use pine shavings right now, but was wondering if anyone uses ABM as bedding. Our farm coop store is having a sale on "Earth Valley ABM" - $4.49 for 35 lbs. I live in the PacNorWest, so we have high humidity from fall through late spring.
This is my first time raising chickens. And I'm having a blast...love it.

They also SHOULD tell you the third quote cannot be true BECAUSE it's still just pine shavings, compressed into pellets​
