Hi everyone

I am currently incubating my first lot quail eggs in a Janoel 12 incubator and iv noticed a few temperature variations. I have the machine itself set to 37.6 degrees(Celsius), majority of the time my thermometer matches that temp but at times it has read 37.1, 36.9 or I have even seen it down to 36.4... I understand that the when incubated naturally these temperature variations would occur when the hen gets off the eggs to eat etc so I am not concerned about it harming the eggs but I am more just wondering if this is a normal incubator thing to do???

Doesn't sound right.. you using a seperate thermometer? Check it for accuracy. . Once you do.. set machine to the seperate thermometer that you know is right..
