Very interested in raising hens

Hello everyone ! We are getting ready to have chickens in the spring. Just left abbots farm in baldwinsville , Syracuse. The lady in the chicken coop was very informative and spark out interest even more. I just want to know if you can have chickens in Wheatley heights , Long Island , ny? It is in Suffolk county and the township of Babylon . Thank you very much.

I believe there is a new york, possibly even Long Island, thread on BYC. You might want to post this on their thread. Hopefully someone close to you knows the answer. Good luck! If that does not work, try calling your township office or looking up your township ordinances online.
