Hi there! I have 4 Rhode Island Red hens who typically lay brown eggs, but for two days in a row, I’ve gotten one strangely pale egg that is a pinkish white colour. I don’t think this is normal and am worried for my girls... all of the other eggs are normal and fine, and I’ve never had anything like this happen before (except after one of my girls suffered a traumatic injury, but that was only due to stress). My hens turn two years old in May. Should I be worried? Am I overreacting? Help, please!
Below is an image of the pink eggs beside a normal egg, and the strange texture on the bottom of the pink egg.
