Where can one find vulturine guinea fowl for sale? I have been considering peafowl as an ornamental. Any other suggestions for ornamental poultry?

Wow, I don't know but they are bizarre looking! This place http://www.guineafarm.com/descriptions.html has a lot of the rare colors, but no Vulturine or crested. There is 1 place listed on the breeders list at GFIA http://www.guineafowlinternational.org/breeders/ Apparently they're a popular zoo animal. Who knew, Guineas at the zoo!

edited to add: I'm assuming you're in the states. I don't know of anything outside the US, sorry.

I heard they are really expensive and considering they look like viscous preditors, I said,'keep them.' But you probably did good to make this post topic. I'm sure eventually someone will put you in touch with the right person.

the spectrum ranch had a thread on theirs a few months back. they are beautiful but not cold hardy.

I am thinking of buying a pair from my local breeder.
Just wondering are they ok to free range during the day, or have they to be penned in all the time.
