Jasmine slept quietly.
 
Niko howled for his son. He heard a reply and raced to the sound. When he got there he saw a pup sitting next to a tree. He ran up to him. "Lupe!" He said excitedly. "Dad! You came back!"
"Of course I would, Lupe."
"I thought you were going to leave me forever."
"I would never do that, Have you had anything to eat?"
"Yeah, I caught a couple birds." Lupe said while wagging his tail.
"Okay good. Now I have someone for you to meet. Lets go." Niko started across the river with Lupe.
"Okay" Lupe said and followed his dad. As they were just getting across Lupe asked "Who is it?"
"You'll see in a minute." They walked to where Jasmine was.
"Jasmine, I'm back." He said not knowing she was sleeping.

Jasmine jumped up.
 
Lupe said "Umm I going to go play by the river." Niko nodded and Lupe ran off. Niko looked at Jasmine. "I think it's time for some pups." He smiled.
