Water Available at Night?

I like keeping water and food in the coop for those days I sleep in a little bit. They always seemed less upset being cooped up if they can eat and drink while waiting for me.

But yea, as others have said, they don't need anything at night other than a nice safe place to roost, preferably with friends.

I’m relieved to learn this! Our pullets? Are about 7 or 8 weeks and we have been moving the water and feed into the coop at night but the water area is damp underneath in the morning so that will be bad for keeping the coop dry. We ordered an Omlet auto door so when that is up and working, I plan on leaving the food and water outside.
