Here's the auto rabbit waterer I made recently.. I'll be posting my chicken, except instead of using tubing I'll use 1in PVC

Mine is basically made from the same components except my drill hole is an inch or so from the top and I invert my bucket with the lid on upside down. It is probably a wee bit messier but I only employ this water outside when the water is not endanger of freezing.

I have two that I like. Both are store bought. The Frist is the metal water that you twist off the top and fill putting the top back on and sliding it secure. It has a reservoir that holds the water. I just sit it on top of a 3 gal bucket turned upside down so they do not get dirt in the water. It has never over flowed or leaked. In the winter I sit it on a cinder block and put a light bulb under it to keep the water from freezing. My second on is larger 5 gallon and fills from the top. Again I sit it on a bucket to keep the dirt out. I never have wet floors. I have 20 chickens and I fill my waters with 2 gallons in the outside one daily and 3 gallons for the inside one that one 2 - 3 times a week as needed.
