1. Not real new to chickens but have had current flock since April of 2009
2. We have 16 hens and 2 roosters.
3. Main flock is 12 buff orpingtons hens, 1 buff rooster, 3 red hens, 1 white rooster
4. Found the site awhile ago by reading some other forum online. Check it every so often.
5. Hobbies...hmmm...I like to knit, crochet, garden, and and be frugal hunting for bargains.
Current project is learning how to hatch chicks from our birds.. Just bought a incubator
this week and started our very first hatch today. Looking to participate on a thread
with someone else incubating
6. Kids are all grown up. Have grandchildren. We have 2 old cocker spaniels, and 1 goldfish.
