here's my question... I have two roosters... a blue cochin, and a New Hampshire Red. The NH is the leader of the pack! We have several different breeds in the run...
Our blue cochin hen went broody and we now have eggs hatching! 2 so far, one has feathered legs, and the other has clean legs. Is it possible that my cochin roo has fathered some of these chicks?
I wasn't sure and my daughter thought that if they had feathered legs that the father had to have feathered legs...
Can anyone help me here?

Chickie'sMoma :

could be either roo. if your hen has feather legs and roo doesn't the feathered legs are dominant and will usually show.
