My starlight olive egger laid her first egg this morning and it has a membrane on the outside of the shell. It's exactly like the membrane that is normally inside. I've never seen this before. Is it something I should be worried about? I should also add, she was a bit out of sorts this morning as well, didn't want to come out of the coop and she's usually the first one running out happy and full of energy. This morning she was slow and didn't go right to the food or water. She's back to herself now eating, drinking. Poo is normal and she's running around as she usually does. I just want to make sure she is okay and what I should do for her if anything. Thanks for reading.

Counter peristalsis.
Shelled egg retracted back up the pike and got another coating of membrane.
Hopefully a one off.

Not really explained in this excellent video, which is worth watching regardless:

Oh thank you. I will watch this soon as I get home. I can say she's back to her old self today so that makes me happy. Thanks again
