hi!!
I got two new chooks today. Point of lay. Noticed that every third or so poo has heap of red in it.
Hours later, same. Looks very weird. Here i have given them layer mash and crumbles. Nothing that would make their poo look flaky and weird like that.
And they got fed lay mash aswell where i got them from.

I know they shed intestinal lining but what ive heard is that i happens once every once in a while. Not all day or smth. I can be wrong.

But wondering if the rest of the weird looking flaky poo with white bits in it could be due to something ?
Could the white be worms ?

Ive only dealt with tapeworm. Thats not it.

There is shed intestinal lining and what looks like tapeworm segments. Use a product with praziquantel in it to eliminate the tapeworms, then redose in 10 days. You can use horse wormers containing praziquantel. You'll also see a reduction in shed intestinal lining.
