I posted yesterday but I wanted to post again
So they are 4 months old and they are currently in isolation from my flock to watch there health. Feathers are shiny, no drainage from eyes or nose, vent is clear of any mites. They are alert and talkative.
The only issue is there droppings. I don’t know if it’s the rooster or hen passing these or both. I understand that a chicken sheds the lining on there intestines so often. But what I have here is a daily thing and 90% of there droppings looks like this.
I just started to give them corid in there water to treat for coccidius (sp) and even if they don’t have it it’s still a good precaution before introducing to flock. It’s 9.5% solution and I’m putting a tsp into a gallon water.
Should I put more???
I am giving them grit and currently fermenting some food for them.
Food that looks undigested is just food on the ground from there feed.
I just need your help and your eyes. Worms??
Seems like some of my other chicks are getting these droppjngs too.
