Welsh harlequins when will they start to lay

I have 3 Welsh harlequin females and one male they are 33 weeks old and they still haven't started to lay yet is this normal.

Yes. It’s because of the amount of daylight hours. A lot of ducks won’t lay during the winter. They should start back up really soon. Mine are around 8 months old and one of them is laying and the other 4 females haven’t started yet.

Most breeds are seasonal layers so start in the spring and stop in the Fall...

Thankyou for the replies I was starting to think there might be something wrong because all my other ducks have all started laying except the Welsh harlequins, iv even been getting fertile Cayuga eggs with just happened to jump into my incubator and are growing nicely.

All Ducks mature at different rates even with the same breed..No Rush..

My Welsh harlequins are 21 weeks old now and still haven't started to lay. It can't be the weather because it's the middle of the summer with some of the longest days. Is it a problem that I only have one male and one female?
