Welsummer or speckled Sussex?

I have never raised either breed. I bought two of each from mypetchicken. I think the Sussex is the one on the left and the welsummer is on the right. All were supposed to be pullets, but does the welsummer look like a male? Thanks!

Sussex on the left with the white chest and the Welsummer is on the right. Welsummers are an auto sexing breed, so she should be female.

Welsummers, in my experience, do develop their combs early. I'm pretty sure you have a pullet. A beautiful one too.

Thank you! I didn’t know welsummer were autosexing as well. I raise cream legbars and they are auto sexing, you learn something new everyday…especially with animals .

Leg (skin) color is different.. White on the Sussex and yellow on the Welsumer.. So agreeing with the first poster's assessment.

I also learned just last week that Welsummer were auto sexing and also that their color is not the same as partridge.
