We have Welsummer rooster who is just over a year old. Takes GREAT care of his hens. Used to dogs and cats. Has been free ranged most of his life and is pretty much fearless, very alert too. Beautiful bird just a little more assertive than I'd like. He's fine with my boyfriend but, for whatever reason, he doesn't like me. Would not recommend to a place with very small children... he doesn't like them either. He's never injured anyone just caused some surprise. I can send pictures to interested parties. We will not ship him.
