I'm located in Nor Cal, but trying to locate a seller near Glen, WV who might have some silver laced wyandottes, rhode island reds, marans and easter-eggers for sale. Looking for young pullets, ideally. Hoping for 20 birds.
The young niece of a friend of mine returned after evacuation to find that a stray dog had gotten in her coop and killed all of her 17 pullets. She was hoping to start an egg business. She is absolutely heartbroken. We are hoping to find her some young hens and get her back on track.
