And for the shoulder how bad is the injury?
Vet wrap tape will work on the shoulder and the body.

I'd search cartspony posts on the subject. If you have more chickens, it is possible to stop the spread by vaccinating the rest of your flock right now. Vaccines can be found at poultry supply places online like Jeffers.
