Woke up this morning to a lethargic 5 week old chick. Bloody stool in their enclosure... 4 chicks in total.
I proceeded to put corid in the water. Got the chick to drink and then moved her to the house so I could monitor.
Other chicks are eating and cheeping like normal.
Was heading out so daughter and I went to just do one more look at the chick and it was painful to watch but the chick acted very erratic and then died.
These were vaccinated chicks from Hoovers. I fed unmedicated starter and gave them small amounts of outdoor time on the grass before putting them in the coop segregated from my older flock. Look don't touch.
Will my other chicks die?
What did I do wrong?
