I have a single mallard duckling exactly 7 weeks old. Till the last few days she has been sleeping in a dog kennel that is able to lock, but lately hasnt wanted to go in at night. Instead, she sleeps on the stairs or in her kiddie pool in plain sight for raccoons or other predators! I also have 3 hens, and in the process of building a coop for them with a run. I was hoping she would get used to sleeping in the run or coop at night so she will be safe. Any ideas to draw her in at night?
